Why can't PARENTS have a Summer Reading Club??? |
I purchased these books from Amazon a few weeks ago in preparation for the
"Mr K and Dutch Girl Summer Reading Program."
It was fun and challenging picking out the titles as we both have very "unique" interests.
Genres range from Baking, Economics, Marriage, and Religion. =)
If you've read a Good Book lately, share it with me in a comment and I just might add it to our Stack.
TTFN!
Erin
PS ... I'll let you know if September if we make it through the pile. =)

I finished "The Room" by Emma Donoghue. I really enjoyed this fascinating story. You may want to read it! xoRobin❤
So are you both going to read all those books or are some for you and some for him?
Try a book called Why We Get Fat by Gary Taubes.(not that either of you has this problem, ha ha). Really enlightening read, anyway. Your grandparents would definitely agree with it (and probably any middle American Dutch farmer!!).
Sarah ... we are reading them together, except for the Gardening and Baking books. =)
Thanks for the book rec ... I knew you'd have a good one!
XOXO
You are smart to make a pile of many different topics. Jared & I tend to get excited and make collections and get stalled halfway through. Like the pile of marriage books, or the pile of parenting books (for the distant future), or the time we thought we'd read through 12 books on missions we got at Urbana, or our current status at the exact midpoint of the Harry Potter series. oh well!
We really enjoyed the book "Love and Respect."
Looks like a good bunch of books to read :) More than I will be getting through this summer!
We have found that anything by Machen is something we can both enjoy.
