20 Years Ago ...

I almost died.  

While riding my bike to go swimming at a friends house, I was hit by a car while crossing the street.  

The road to recovery was so long and so frustrating.   

I didn't know why God let this happen to me.

But these words gave me peace both then and now:

"What is thy only comfort in life and death?  
That I with body and soul, both in life and death, am not my own, 
but belong unto my faithful Savior Jesus Christ."
