My ironing board is height adjustable just like the one Grandma had so we lowered it to 6 1/2 year old height. =)
Whose hankies did we iron?? Why, Grandma's, of course. =)
STEP ONE:
Lay it out Smooth ... Spritz, Spritz, Spritz!
STEP TWO:
Iron from the center outward with even strokes to avoid wrinkles.
STEP THREE (OPTIONAL):
Burn your knuckle.
A Disney Princess Band-Aid made it All Better. =)
STEP FOUR:
Fold and Stack neatly
Love,
Erin
PS - I can really see from these pictures that I need to freshen up my ironing board cover. It's pretty dingy looking!

I remember doing the same, i think it was a hankie, at my grandma's, and I didn't skip step 3! I have the scar to this day... :)
aw poor little poppet. I still do step 3 and I am a little older than 6 1/2. Shame nobody puts a Disney Princess plaster on mine :o(
What a sweet idea and such a happy memory. Just love seeing little children concentrating on their task, especially such adorable ones! ❤ robin
How lovely to see how concentrated your little girl is doing such an important job!
I remember ironing my dolls clothes when my Mum was doing the ironing with my teeny tiny ironing board and my toy iron with a suction cup plug that I would attach to the table. Not quite as good as the real thing but I felt like a 'big' girl doing her housework.
