Like Mother ... Like Daughter

I was  home all day doing a little of this & that paperwork so when Abigail got home from school I decided to Go Out.  Supposedly Michael's was adding more fiber to their Yarn Department and I wanted to check it out.

She didn't like that idea AT ALL so I decided to bribe her.  Don't tell me you've never used that card.  =)  I had a 40% off coupon and told her she could pick out a "treat."

Look what she chose:

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, now does it!!!!

How wonderful! My daughter is an artist and it is so much fun to watch that creativity grow. Never push, just encourage and admire and careful with comments---all artists are quite sensitive in what I've seen. Your daughter is a sweetheart. Hope you got to use your coupon. Michaels has just opened here so I hope to use mine.

Love this! My daughter (age 6) is the same way - "Michaels AGAIN?" But treat her to some artsy goodness (esp. colorful markers or Perler beads) and she'll let me linger as long as I want.

Hi Erin, just found your blog this morning via i crochet, then surprise surprise I got a comment from you :0)
Love your crochet too. To answer your question I use many different makes of Acrylic. All quite cheap stuff, just pick the colours I like.
